MOTEGI TRACK wheels, named
after Japan's Twin Ring Motegi racing circuit, "look and perform like
they were born on the track." Launched in 1999 at a time when the tuner
culture was just beginning to spread around the United States, Motegi's
designs met and continue to meet the demands of the performance-driven
automotive enthusiast. In 2005 Motegi developed MOTEGI TRACK, a line
focused exclusively on high-performance race wheels for drag, drift, and
road racing.
Motegi's parent corporation, one of the largest aftermarket wheel
companies in the U.S with over 50 years experience in the wheel
industry, provides them with the manufacturing, design and technological
expertise required to create performance-focused, high quality wheels
with cutting-edge designs.
Their design team includes automotive designers from leading automotive
design schools including the Art Center in Pasadena, California and
professionals who’ve worked with leading OEMs such as Porsche and Honda.
The styles offered in the MOTEGI TRACK line feature clean, aggressive
lines influenced by the JDM style and by the technical experience
gleaned from both professional and grassroots motorsports. Wheels are
designed using the latest CAD/CAM software to analyze structural
robustness while minimizing weight for total performance.
To ensure quality, MOTEGI TRACK wheels are subject to some of the most
stringent testing in the wheel industry. Motegi engineering and testing
labs are compliant to ISO9001 (QS9000) industry standards for quality.
During development and production, complete x-ray, 3D computerized
inspection, and laboratory testing are performed to ensure strength and
