Praxis Suspension Praxis Advanced Suspensions are a product of Bridgestone/Firestone Vehicle Systems. In order to create the world’s first aftermarket Adaptive Performance Suspension System for driving enthusiasts, Bridgestone/Firestone utilized the same corporate capabilities that have manufactured Original Equipment air springs since the early 1980s for consumer vehicles like the Lincoln Continental, L& Rover & Hummer H2, as well as commercial over-the-road vehicles. The Praxis Adaptive Performance Suspension System has been developed as an engineered system that balances the influence of key performance components from the tires to the chassis. The nucleus of the Praxis Adaptive Performance Suspension System is its multi-rate Firestone air-springs that change suspension spring rate & vehicle ride height at the same time. This allows the driver to adapt the behavior of the vehicle’s suspension to current driving conditions with the "push of a button." The Praxis Adaptive Performance Suspension System has been engineered to be installed using as many existing vehicle attachment points as possible (the Subaru system only requires drilling two holes!). This helps to assure that the system will provide integrated appearance & performance.

The Praxis Adaptive Performance Suspension System is a revolutionary performance air-spring suspension engineered for driving enthusiasts by driving enthusiasts. Its design allows the driver the choice of retaining or enhancing their vehicle's ride & handling characteristics by easily adapting the vehicle's ride height, suspension spring rate & shock absorber damping forces for whatever driving adventures lie ahead.

The Praxis suspension system includes all of the components necessary to allow a vehicle to serve as a daily driver or a racetrack tamer. While the suspension components weigh slightly less than the vehicle's original springs & struts, the complete Praxis suspension system evenly distributes under 25 pounds of additional weight around the vehicle.

With the Praxis system, all the driver has to do is select one of three programmed suspension modes (Touring, Sport or Track) with a simple push of a cockpit-mounted button. The Praxis suspension system will raise or lower the vehicle to the correct ride height & assigned spring rate. The driver then fine-tunes the shock absorber damping by turning an adjuster conveniently located at the bottom of each strut unit.
